Reflection 2

Our second quarter lesson in ICT excites me because I want to learn more about the internet access, about the HTML (Hypertext Mark-up Language) and the Mark-up Tags.

I learned how to use the different tags. It gave me more ideas and I discovered a lot. It is better to have knowledge in this field because this can help us in the future. I have some knowledge about the internet access but in our lesson this quarter my knowledge about it  became broad. I encountered different problems and challenges in typing the different tags but I learned how to do it eventually. I will address these challenges by giving more efforts and attention in knowing the different tags so that I can easily do it.

Moving on, I will use the lessons that we have learned not only for the sake of passing in our periodical   test but for this also for a daily lifetime basis. These lessons will not  just be memorized to have an answers to our quizzes but to be used for life purposes.

“Gurong Pilipino: Turo Mo, Kinabukasan Ko.”

My teachers are my heroes! I am very grateful to all my teachers who have done a very important role in my life. My teachers are the one who molded on how I am today. I will be forever indebted to all of my teachers because I am nothing if I don’t have them in my life.

When I’m in school they served as our loving parents. They treated us as their true sons and daughters. They taught us how to write, draw, recite and many more. They showed us on how to become a good student and instilled us discipline, to motivate us and to value education. Your kindness and strictness will be our guide to surpass all the unavoidable trials that will come on our way. When we remember you, we know that we will be able to pursue our goals in our life because we know that you only want what’s best for us and to become a better person someday.

Teacher, thank you very much to all of you because we will surely have a bright tomorrow. Your patience and kindness to us, your students will always be remembered and treasured.

“Accelerating global actions for a world without poverty.”

The United Nations Month is held throughout the month of October to commemorate the anniversary of the signing of the UN Charter. This year, we celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the United Nations. “Accelerating global actions for a world without poverty.” We celebrate the United Nations Day in order to honor the interstate organization in promoting human rights, social progress and world peace.

Every nation should find ways to eradicate poverty. Instead of giving dole out, the government should provide work to motivate them the value of independency. We are all aware that most of the so called poverty-stricken people were used to depend and rely to the government without stretching their bones to earn for a living. The government should think of a way to help them by giving them work, instead of giving them financial support, so that they will not become lazy and dependent to others because they need to learn how to stand on their own. As long as they have a chance to work they should immediately grab it.

Overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is not always about seeking for someone’s help, but it is about how you seek solutions to improve your own life. Industrious people can escape poverty.

“WAVEFRONT: Accentuating Potentials, Activating Technological Advancements.”

The National Science Month is celebrated every September and the theme for this year’s celebration is “WAVEFRONT: Accentuating Potentials, Activating Technological Advancements.” This theme intends to make the students with potential prominent and noticeable that’s why they should improve and activate their technological abilities.

Nowadays, students are leading in using technologies that they are more knowledgeable and advance than the old ones. They have the potential in many aspects that’s why the old ones should mold, guide and help them in improving their capabilities that can help them in the future. While they are still young, motivate them to strive harder and do the things that they are capable to do and teach them things that will push them to the right path. Inform them that if they continuously use technologies, their dreams will be destroyed and even their health is affected if they keep using these technologies for useless, unimportant and trivial things but using technologies isn’t that bad as long as they use it properly, for educational purposes and they should also know their limitations.

They observed that many students have the potential in their chosen field of interest. That they have the ability to get the field they cling to. Inculcate with them the importance of developing their potential and adapt technological advancement appropriately to pursue their dreams.
